The Manitowoc Police Department has charged a 28-year-old man after he allegedly physically and sexually abused his girlfriend.
The victim reported the abuse to police, stating that he would strike her during arguments, including open hand slaps and closed fist punches.
On multiple occasions the woman would confront the man about possibly cheating on her, to which he would get angry and hit her.
She also said that when the two became intimate, he would intentionally hurt her by pinching her in ways he would not when he wasn’t angry. She said that the abuse was done to intentionally cause her pain and injury.
The man has not yet been located but is facing charges of Battery with a Domestic Violence Order, and 4th Degree Sexual Assault.
