
The Wisconsin football program reports it is up to 16 active COVID-19 cases after two staff members and one player tested positive.
Fifteen of the new cases have been confirmed since last Saturday.
Everything is on hold in Madison and the earliest football activities could resume is next Wednesday.
Head coach Paul Chryst is sidelined until Saturday, November 7th, after his positive test result was confirmed.
Players who haven’t recorded positive tests are spending their time at a local hotel to keep them separated and mitigate the spread of the virus, and they are still taking part in the daily testing.
UW officials say their next report on the situation will come Saturday.
