An 8 year old Green Bay girl sat down to enjoy some of here hard earned Halloween candy, and quickly realized that one piece had a needle in it. The child gave her candy to her grandmother, who immediately threw the remaining candy away, and turned the tainted piece over to authorities. The candy was determined to have been received somewhere in the area of Velp Ave., Neville Ave., and Winford Ave, but police do not know who handed out the piece with the needle. This is the second report of a Northeast Wisconsin child finding a sharp object in candy, after a child found three nails in candy bars collected during trick-or-treating in Neenah on Halloween night.
