Authorities in Sauk County say a 22-year-old woman from Manawa escaped any serious injuries when she fell 50 feet in a weekend accident at Devil’s Lake State Park.
The woman’s name hasn’t been released.
Investigators say she fell over the cliff at Devil’s Doorway on the East Bluff Trail side of the park.
Members of the Baraboo Rope Rescue Team worked with other emergency personnel to perform a technical rope rescue.
The woman was taken to St. Clare’s hospital where doctors treated her, then she was released.
