The Wisconsin Badgers moved up another two spots in the Associated Press college football poll this week – even though they haven’t taken the field yet.
Coach Paul Chryst’s team is ranked 14th, tied with North Carolina.
The Badgers are one of five Big Ten Conference teams who are ranked without playing. Ohio State is number five, Penn State number eight, Michigan is 18th and Minnesota is 21st.
The Badgers also moved up to 14th in the Coaches Poll.
Wisconsin plays its season opener Friday at home against Illinois.
