The extradition hearing for accused Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse will be held in a Lake County, Illinois courtroom later today (Friday).
The 17-year-old Rittenhouse has been charged with shooting two protesters to death and injuring a third August 25th.
His attorneys say he shouldn’t be returned to Kenosha, comparing that to turning him over to a “mob.”
The state’s attorney says that allegation will play no role in the extradition.
The teenager’s defense has challenged legal documents that contained typographical errors, but prosecutors say they’re not relevant.
