According to reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of East Mason and South Baird Streets.
Authorities say that one of the vehicles had pulled in front of the other, which is what caused the crash.
Minor injuries were reported to an unspecified number of people, and others fled the scene.
The number of people who left was not released, and K9 units were deployed to search for the suspects.
It is not clear at this time if the search was successful or not. The investigation is still ongoing.
