The Dodge County Medical Examiner has confirmed that two inmates at the state correctional facility in Waupun have died after contracting COVID-19.
Both men died last month.
A 63-year-old inmate with preexisting medical concerns died September 12th.
A 62-year-old man who had tested positive for COVID-19 died three days later of lung cancer.
The autopsy showed that the coronavirus infection was a contributing factor to the man’s death.
