It still isn’t clear where and when the Wisconsin Badgers will start their college basketball season.
C-B-S Sports is reporting coach Greg Gard’s team won’t play in the Fort Myers Tip-Off on Thanksgiving week. The tournament is still on, but with Wisconsin and Colorado dropping out the organizers need some new teams.
Another online report has the Badgers working on hosting their own similar multi-team event at the Kohl Center.
The annual showdown between the Big Ten and Big East is off. Games against Tennessee, Marquette, and the Big Ten-A-C-C Challenge remain – but without specific opponents, times and dates.
The season is scheduled to start November 25th, so a lot of those questions should be answered pretty soon.
