The University of Wisconsin-Madison is responding to the rising number of COVID-19 cases and resulting hospitalizations by putting new limits on who will be allowed to attend the Illinois game.
Only essential personnel will be allowed at the season opener inside Camp Randall Stadium. Families of players and coaches will also be kept away.
The Badgers are scheduled to play the Illini the weekend of October 23rd or 24th. The specific game date and time haven’t been officially established yet.
Tailgating and loitering will also be banned for game day.
