Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and tight end Robert Tonyan played pitch-and-catch in a relatively-easy 30-16 win over Atlanta on Monday Night Football.
Tonyan caught six passes for 98 yards and three scores while the usual Rodgers targets like wide receivers Davante Adams and Allen Lazard were sidelined by injuries.
Tonyan has five touchdowns in four games, matching former Packer Jimmy Graham’s scoring output in 32 games over two seasons.
Rodgers completed 27-of-33 passes for 327 yards and four T-Ds. Za’Darius Smith had eight pressures of Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan.
The Packers remained undefeated after four games while keeping the injury-depleted Falcons winless.
The Packers enter their bye week, then play at Tampa against the Buccaneers October 18th.
