
Milwaukee Public Schools are working to keep fall sports athletes encouraged and engaged after moving their seasons to the spring.
M-P-S has started a campaign called “#StayReady”.
M-P-S Manager for Athletics and Academics Matt Goodwin says the district is offering the resources needed to help those players get through the tough time. He says he wants to keep them motivated.
Professional players like the N-F-L’s Lance Kendricks and the N-B-A’s Jordan Poole are helping out.
A recent spike in COVID-19 cases has also put the high school basketball season – along with other winter sports – in question.
