A Manitowoc man was arrested yesterday for a burglary that took place at a northside residence back in late August.
Officers were dispatched to the home in the 500 block of North 9th Street at around 8:30 the morning of August 21st to investigate the burglary claim.
The victim told officers that she suspected the culprit was their 29-year-old upstairs neighbor, whom they had just told was being evicted.
She explained that she had come home to find several items missing, including a set of speakers.
The upstairs neighbor was not found, but was taken in for an interview yesterday, where he admitted to stealing the items.
He told the Detective that he stole the items because he disliked his neighbors because they were evicting him.
He is now facing charges of Burglary, Entering a Locked Coin Box, and four counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
