Green Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard missed practice Thursday with a core muscle injury, and E-S-P-N reported that Lazard underwent surgery and is out indefinitely.
He had a career game at New Orleans Sunday night, hauling in six passes for 146 yards and a T-D. Lazard stepped up with Davante Adams out and leads the team with 254 receiving yards through three games.
Adams has been battling hamstring injury but was listed as a “limited participant” at practice on the injury report Thursday.
The only healthy receivers on the active roster are Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Darrius Shepherd and Malik Taylor.
The Pack signed wide out Juwann Winfree to the practice squad Thursday. He was 2019 sixth round draft of the Denver Broncos out of Colorado and appeared in three game last season.
