Miami Heat rookie and Wisconsin native Tyler Herro is becoming a hero during the N-B-A playoffs.
Herro went off for 37 points in the Heat’s game three win over the Celtics Wednesday night and received social media messages from Shaquille O’Neal and Dwayne Wade.
Heat forward Jimmy Butler showed up at practice Thursday wearing a Whitnall High School basketball jersey, which is Herro’s alma mater.
Some people were wondering where Butler got a Whitnall jersey from Milwaukee County inside the N-B-A “bubble” at Disney World.
Herro and the Heat are one victory away from the N-B-A Finals. Game Five of the Eastern Conference Finals is tonight (Friday).
