The Wisconsin Public Service (WPS) Foundation is honoring 31 local students by awarding them more than $20,000 in college scholarships.
This year’s recipients include three Manitowoc County students continuing their education this fall in the fields of business management, electricity and information technology.
Manitowoc residents Cooper Fellows and Josiah Schultz made the cut, as did Aubry Hassemer from Mishicot.
Each student is receiving a $750 scholarship to help them pursue a one-year technical diploma or two-year associate degree.
Grants are awarded based on academic achievement, school and community leadership activities, and financial need.
