The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park, along with the Green Bay Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers (AAZK), are getting ready to host a VIRTUAL International Red Panda Day celebration this Saturday.
Red pandas are classified as an endangered species, with potentially as few as 2,500 remaining in the wild, so these animals need our help now more than ever. This virtual event will celebrate red pandas and help raise funds to support their conservation.
Videos of enrichment and training demos with the Zoo’s red pandas throughout this week at Facebook.com/GreenBayAAZK. They will also have an assortment of hand-made crafts available to purchase on Green Bay AAZK’s Etsy page: Etsy.com/shop/GreenBayAAZK.
All proceeds from Green Bay AAZK’s Etsy page sales during the month of September will be donated to the Red Panda Network.
