
After scoring 17 runs in the last five games, Brewers hitters pounded St. Louis in an 18-3 win Tuesday night.
Christian Yelich hit his 10th home run and had three hits, while Ryan Braun and Keston Hiura drove in four runs each. Braun, Hiura, and Daniel Vogelbach had homers in the rout which moved Milwaukee to a game behind the Cardinals in the race for a guaranteed playoff spot.
The Brewers led 4-1 when they put seven runs on the scoreboard in the fourth inning, followed by six more in the fifth inning.
