The City of Manitowoc Public Safety Committee will be gathering in the Council Chambers this evening.
At their 6:00 PM meeting, the committee will be going over the monthly reports from the Police and Fire Departments, before looking at the August Blight Update and Expense Reports.
They will also be looking at a few requests. Those include for there to be no parking in the areas of South 16th Street between Clark and Franklin Streets to allow for safer pedestrian crossing, a stop sign at the corner of North 23rd Street and La Foleltte Avenue, and to reduce the speed limit on Waldo Boulevard between North 20th Street and North Rapids Road to 25 MPH.
