Milwaukee Police says federal agents were trying to arrest a suspect when he fired his gun Monday and hit himself.
The man died before he could be taken to a hospital.
A department spokesperson didn’t say whether the 23-year-old Milwaukee man deliberately killed himself, or, whether the fatal shot was accidental.
His name hasn’t been released.
The federal agents weren’t injured and they didn’t fire a shot.
At least some of those agents are believed to be with the Drug Enforcement Administration.
