Despite speculation by national sportswriters, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has said it again – he’s not leaving Milwaukee.
The Bucks entered the N-B-A playoffs with the best regular-season record, then fell short of the finals for a second straight year. Many writers have been saying that means Antetokounmpo will take off as a free agent after the 2020-2021 season and land with Golden State, either of the Los Angeles teams or the New York-area teams.
He tells Yahoo Sports it’s disappointing that the Bucks lost, but he and his teammates will keep working.
Antetokounmpo is eligible for a five-year, $250-million super-max extension in the off-season.
