It’s familiar to many…but it’ll have a new home this fall. We’re referring to the 20th annual Father Bill Zimmer Forum, which is moving from the former Holy Family College to Roncalli High School. Appropriately, the forum will take place starting next week in the Zimmer Auditorium, located inside the Fine Arts Center at Roncalli.
Father Dave Beaudry, is director of mission and discipleship for Roncalli Catholic Schools.
Wave Beaudry states “an incredible person that it’s named after, and that’s Father Bill Zimmer, if you will, the hometown boy… Manitowoc native, teacher, friend to all those in need.”
Taylor Geiger, vocation coordinator with the Diocese of Green Bay, will be the first guest speaker for this year’s series on Tuesday, September 8th. He will speak on Joel Stepanek’s “Chasing Humility: 8-Ways to Shape a Christian Heart.” Each forum will be held from noon-to-1pm on the second Tuesday of every month September through November and again in February through April. Father Beaudry encourages people to come out and hear their speaker panel this year.
Father Beaudry adds “It’s important to be aware, to expand -that’s what Father Bill would do. …willing to dialogue and help those in need.”
Presentations are free and open to the public. Advance registration is not required.
