The Manitowoc Movie in the Park series returns to Washington Park this evening for a showing of Remember the Titans.
This Denzel Washington staring film was released in 2000, and tells the true story of Herman Boone, a black man who was hired to coach a football team at a mixed-race high school in 1971.
The movie will start at 8:00 PM but be sure to get there early for a preview of the Manitowoc Creed video and the 150th Anniversary video.
Be sure to bring your own chair and/or blanket to sit on, and the City’s Recreation Department asks that you remain socially distant during the movie.
