A 17-year-old Green Bay resident is facing nearly 80 years in prison if he is found guilty in a shooting earlier this week.
Demarvis Johnson was taken into police custody after a manhunt put several streets and schools on lockdown on Tuesday.
The shooting occurred in the 200 block of South Oakland Avenue on Sunday, and officials identified Johnson rather quickly as the suspect, but he had fled the scene before he could be apprehended.
Then on Tuesday, the Green Bay Police Department received a tip that Johnson was in the area of Oakdale Avenue and Main Street, and that he may be armed.
He was taken into police custody without incident and is now facing charges of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, four counts of Bail Jumping, and one count of Obstructing an Officer.
