A 40-year-old New Holstein man accused of killing a 32-year-old male in Manitowoc last month returns to court tomorrow morning for a preliminary hearing.
Legal Counsel for Craig W. Holtz had that request granted during an initial appearance yesterday.
On the night of August 20th, officers responded to the 1000 block of Marshall Street on a report of a man being stabbed and upon arrival located the victim collapsed outside a residence.
The defendant allegedly stabbed the 32-year-old male over a drug deal “gone bad” and fled the scene before being taken into custody at a northside residence.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending a complete investigation
