Attorney Benjamin Crump says his client “didn’t harm anyone or pose any threat to the police” when he was shot.
Crump represents Jacob Blake after the shooting incident in Kenosha last Sunday. Video shows Blake fighting with Kenosha Police, then ignoring officers as he reached into his car. Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul has said Blake had a knife in that car. Crump says Kenosha Police still need to answer questions about why Blake was shot – and the 17-year-old who killed two people and wounded a third Tuesday night wasn’t shot.
