
The Republican National Convention kicks off today (Monday) in Charlotte, North Carolina, although most of it will be virtual.
Former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has been asked to give the nominating speech for Vice President Mike Pence.
The party hasn’t said when or where the speech by Walker will be given.
Pence is scheduled to speak Wednesday night from Fort McHenry in Baltimore when he accepts the party’s nomination.
President Trump has said he will accept the nomination for president from the White House.
At least two other business people from Wisconsin are expected to speak during the event.
