Maybe they took their convention out of Milwaukee and put it online, but Democrats say they still understand how crucial a swing-state like Wisconsin is for the November election.
During a virtual meeting with party members, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said the election is “all riding on Wisconsin.”
She also touched on how important it is for people to show up to vote after Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by less than 23 thousand Wisconsin votes four years ago.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder said, “The fate of the United States, the fate of the Western World is on your shoulders.”
Then, he added, “Not too much pressure,” with a smile.
