Milwaukee high school basketball prospect James Graham decided not to wait until Friday to make his decision official – the 6’8″ star for Nicolet High School committed to Maryland Wednesday.
Maryland was the first program from a major conference to offer him a scholarship. The decision leaves Auburn, Memphis and Wisconsin behind.
He had already eliminated Marquette from his list of finalists.
He says he liked that Maryland coaches mentioned the potential of making money off his likenesses or brand.
Graham says he never thought about it until they brought it up.
