Motorists are reminded about a couple of road closures in Manitowoc today.
South 13th Street between Franklin and Washington Streets remains closed due to work at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Plant. The current detour route will be extended to South 12th Street back over to Franklin for approximately two days as Vinton Construction is replacing storm sewer into that Intersection.
Work on the entire project is expected to be completed by October 31st.
Meanwhile-Streets Team Leader Billy Hutterer says the northbound traffic lane of South 26th Street from Washington to Franklin will be closed (beginning at 6 a.m.) for tree removal.
A detour will be set up with South 26th anticipated to be reopened to thru traffic by 4 p.m. this afternoon.
