A Manitowoc man was taken into police custody after he was fond to be in possession of marijuana and a concealed knife following an argument with a woman.
The Police Department was asked to perform a welfare check on the victim by her mother after she said she heard the suspect screaming at the victim over the phone. The victim told officers that the man and her had been arguing, and that he acted like he was going to attack her.
Officers located the man in the 600 block of South 32nd Street shortly after, and he admitted that the argument happened. Officers began to arrest him on a charge of Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Order, when they found brass knuckles, a knife, and a vape pen continuing THC.
The 23-year-old man is now facing additional charges of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Knife, Possession of THC, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
