Wind gusts hit 45 miles-an-hour throughout Wisconsin Tuesday, but there was not much damage from it. Tree limbs fell at Florence, where the winds hit 51 miles-an-hour. Officials say a semitruck blew into a median near Kohler right after it drove from Highway 23 onto southbound Interstate 43. About 900 We Energies’ customers in the Milwaukee area were still without power this (Wednesday) morning, but other large Wisconsin utilities reported no outages. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are in the statewide forecast for the next couple days, but the National Weather Service says snow is possible in some areas Thursday night into Friday — and the south shore of Lake Superior could get several inches of the white stuff.
