A 42-year old Two Rivers man received what was termed a suspected minor injury yesterday morning when the semi-trailer unit he was operating overturned on Highway 151 near Valders.
The accident report from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office shows Thomas Theis Junior was leaving Spancrete with a load around 7:45am.
As he was making a right turn onto northbound 151, the load on the flatbed trailer shifted, causing the vehicle to tip onto the drivers’ side.
Theis was not ejected from the wreckage and was taken to Holy Family Memorial for treatment.
The semi was towed from the scene by Hi-Way 42 Garage due to disabling damage.
Highway 151, west of Swamp Road in the Town of Cato, was closed to traffic for more than two hours to allow for investigation and cleanup.
