
Twenty new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Manitowoc County over the weekend, with about half of them found in people aged 26-35. That age group continues to be the most effected by the virus locally, with over 80 cases confirmed within that age group.
Also, over the weekend, 25 people were listed as recovered, and 399 more tests came back negative. This leaves the pandemic long totals at 345 positive and 10,671 negative tests results, and 198 active cases.
In Sheboygan County, 21 more cases were reported on Friday, along with 31 recoveries and 414 negative tests. This brings the pandemic totals to 759 cases, 136 of which are active and 22,333 negative tests.
This does not include any new cases over the weekend, as Sheboygan County stopped issuing updates on Saturdays and Sundays.
Sheboygan County has a positive return rate of roughly 3.3% while Manitowoc County sits at 3.1%.
