
Two men facing child sex charges had their bail set in Manitowoc County Court yesterday.
Bail is set at $7500 recognizance bond for 21-year-old Donovan J. Kreuger Kreuger, who is charged with Soliciting a Child for Prostitution and Exposing a Child to Harmful materials.
Manitowoc Police say a woman made-contact-with one of their Detectives in late June about some inappropriate messages that her child had received over Snapchat from Krueger. A search warrant was obtained which revealed many sexual-related messages including offering the child money for sex and nude photos.
Conditions of bail are that Krueger have “no contact” with the victim or anyone under the age of 18-not to possess any internet enabled device and Kreuger is prohibited from utilizing any social media and messaging services or have anyone utilize use of them on his behalf.
His initial appearance is scheduled for August 24th at 1:30.
Meanwhile, bail was set at $2000 recognizance bond for a 35-year-old Paul D. Otto, who has been charged with felony bail jumping after he, according to police, immediately began messaging someone via his mother’s Facebook on Wednesday violating a condition of bail of not allowing to use or possess any internet device.
The woman immediately reported Otto to police who took him into custody.
Conditions of bail are that Otto report to the Manitowoc Police Department within 72 hours for photos and prints, not use anyone’s electronic device to access the internet or have anyone utilize the device on his behalf and Otto is not to utilize or possess any internet enabled device.
An initial court appearance is scheduled for August 24th at 1:30.
Meanwhile, Otto is free on $12,500 cash bail posted on his original charges of using a computer to facilitate a sex crime-child enticement and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
His initial appearance on those charges is set for August 10th at 1:30.
