Coming up with a new name for the Beloit minor league baseball team ought to be a snap.
The team is getting a new stadium for the 2021 season and it’s giving fans in southern Wisconsin a chance to choose its new name.
General Manager Jeff Gray says a new era for baseball is coming next year and the team formerly called the “Snappers” wants to have a name that represents the fans in the stands.
Suggestions can be submitted online at SnappersBaseball.com, with submissions collected through August 18th.
Gray says all options will be considered.
