The 2020 Partisan Primary Election is only a week away, and Manitowoc County Clerk Jessica Backus is reminding those with absentee ballots to turn them in.
She says that all ballots must be to the voter’s polling place by 8:00 PM next Tuesday or they will not be counted.
Backus urges those who have requested an absentee ballot by mail, to mail the voted ballot back in the signed and witnessed absentee certificate envelope as soon as possible to ensure your vote would be received by the clerk by/on Election Day.
A voter does have the option of hand delivering an absentee ballot they received by mail to the clerk as well
