Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer is the N-B-A Coach of the Year for a second straight season.
He and Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan will share the Michael H. Goldberg Coach of the Year honor for 2020. It was almost a three-way tie because Toronto Raptors coach Nick Nurse finished one vote behind Coach Bud and Donovan.
Budenholzer is the first two-time winner after leading the Bucks to a 54-and-13 record so far, with six games to go in the “regular season.”
The Bucks have had the league’s top-ranked defense in both of his seasons in Milwaukee, while also ranking among the most-efficient and high-powered offenses in the N-B-A.
Monday’s announcement isn’t the main N-B-A Coach of the Year award, but it is significant.
