A Manitowoc woman was arrested over the weekend on her 6th OWI offense.
The 49-year-old was pulled over after she was seen turning the wrong way onto the 900 block of South 22nd Street at around 4:00 Saturday afternoon.
The officer who conducted the traffic stop noticed several open containers of assorted alcohol in the back seat of the car and asked the woman if she had been drinking. The woman denied being drunk, but the officer smelled alcohol and noticed that the woman’s eyes were bloodshot and glossy.
A search of the woman uncovered a glass pipe typically used to “smoke crack cocaine” according to the officer’s report.
A blood draw was performed on the driver, and she was charged with her 6th OWI offense, as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
