Domestic violence and drug use have been charged against a Manitowoc man.
51-year old Michael Skattebo was arrested Thursday morning when police were called to 1914 Hamilton Street because of property being thrown around and smashed and a woman being threatened and hit.
Police believed Skattebo to be under the influence of methamphetamine and said he was abusive and threatening to female victim, who also lives at that address. Skattebo was charged with disorderly conduct and battery.
He appeared in Manitowoc County Circuit court and was released on signature bond.
He is to maintain absolute sobriety and have no contact with the victim and is scheduled for a court appearance on August 17th.
