Police in Manitowoc arrested an 18 year old man after he repeatedly texted and called his ex-girlfriend, despite the fact that the court ordered him not to have any contact with her.
Officers were sent to the apartment complex located at 1500 North 3rd Street at around 6:00 Sunday night to investigate the matter.
The victim told officers that the man had repeatedly tried to make contact with her via several different phone numbers. The victim is the mother of at least one of the suspect’s children, but the court issued a Domestic Violence Injunction on him.
The suspect denied any wrongdoing, but the victim showed physical evidence to the contrary, so the man was arrested and charged with Violating a Domestic Abuse Injunction.
