A 47 year old Manitowoc man is facing his 4th OWI charge following a crash Friday evening.
The Manitowoc Police Department was informed of the accident in the 1100 block of Washington Street at around 10:30 PM, and arrived to find only one vehicle was involved.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was treated for injuries at the scene, and was transported to Holy Family Memorial for further treatment.
An investigation determined the man was traveling east on Washington when he lost consciousness and struck a light pole.
It was determined that the man was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident, and has been charged with OWI, his 4th offense.
