Wisconsin Badgers senior safety Eric Burrell is on another preseason watch list.
He is one of 98 defensive players in the country in contention for the Bronko Nagurski Award, which goes to the best college defensive player in the country.
Burrell was already named to the watch list for the Jim Thorpe Award.
There are nine other Big Ten Conference players on the Nagurski watch list.
The Badgers have never had a player win that award, but Ohio State’s Chase Young won it last year.
