For more than 30 years, Two Rivers couple Ron and Donna Feest decorated their home on the 800 block of 17th Street with help from their family, with over 100 jack-o-lanterns. Their home became a local attraction, drawing crowds of traffic, and was dubbed the “Pumpkin House”. For the past 14 years, the pumpkin house was on a hiatus, but this year, friends, family, and city officials are bringing back the tradition for one more year, to commemorate Ron Feest, who died in July at the age of 89. As of Monday morning, there were around 150 pumpkins that were donated to the cause. This will in all likelihood be the final year of the event.
