The Manitowoc Bandits used a solid pitching performance backed by ample offensive production for their 5th straight win last night.
The Bandits shut out the host Casco A’s, 8-nothing, behind a complete-game 5-hitter by winning pitcher Jake Jeanquart, who also struck out 8 batters.
He was supported offensively by Jesse Krueger’s 2-out, 2-run double in the 3rd inning when Manitowoc broke the game open. Earl Vorpagel, A-J Dollinger and Trent Van Ess had two hits apiece.
The Bandits, 6-0 in the Shoreland League, 8-2 overall, are scheduled to face the A’s again tomorrow night, this time at Municipal Field. The On-Deck Show starts at 7:15 on 107.9FM, WOMT and at WOMTRadio.com.
