A 30-year-old Fort Atkinson man has been bound over for trial in Rock County Circuit Court.
Jacob Piper faces five counts of attempted first-degree homicide and one count of arson.
Piper is accused of setting a Janesville duplex on fire last May while five people were inside.
A woman in one of the units had rejected his sexual advances the day before.
Police say when they found Piper he had a singed beard and clothes and a gas can nozzle in his vehicle.
The building was gutted by the fire, but all five people were able to get out safely.
