While the details are scarce, it is being reported that a 12 year old child was rescued from Lake Michigan late last week.
The report indicates that a caller informed the Sheboygan Fire & Rescue Crews that a 12 year old boy was seen drowning in the lake near King Park at around 4:00 PM last Thursday. Crews moved quickly to that location, but by the time they got there, the boy had been pulled onto the beach by an unnamed individual.
The child was then transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment, but it is not clear what his condition is at this time.
