The Milwaukee Brewers “Gold” team did the damage in the first inning again, riding a three-run homer by Logan Morrison to a 4-1 win Thursday at Miller Park.
That team will go for a four-game sweep of the Blue and Gold World Series tonight (Friday).
The Gold team has done most of its offensive work with the longball and it did it again. Morrison’s home run followed singles by Brock Holt and Jedd Gyorko. Freddy Peralta gave up the big fly.
Josh Lindblom held the Blue team to one run in five innings for the win.
