A South Milwaukee man faces four criminal charges after being accused of leading officers on a chase in three states. Prosecutors say the chase began after 30-year-old Kenneth Brown kidnapped his two-year-old daughter in Milwaukee, stole a vehicle, and drove into Illinois where an effort to arrest him failed — and he reportedly chased officers into Indiana at up to 90-miles-an-hour. Officials say Brown’s car was surrounded after he stopped, holding a knife to the toddler’s throat — and he handed the girl to police and started cutting his own throat before an officer shot a Taser stun gun to subdue him. He faces extradition to Wisconsin on charges of interfering with child custody, vehicle theft, and bail jumping.
