A 25-year-old Milwaukee murder suspect skips out of his trial, and a judge ordered a manhunt before a jury convicted him. Dwayne Chaney attended the first three days of his trial, but not the last two days. He was free because he wanted a speedy trial, and the prosecution could not be ready in time for one. Chaney is accused in the 2015 shooting death of 21-year-old Michael Prescott in a car where the victim was sitting. U-S Marshals arrested Chaney in May on charges of first degree intentional homicide and illegal firearm possession — and it took jurors less than an hour Friday to convict Chaney on both counts.
